Insulated tape is also called insulated tape. It is composed of a base tape and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. The base belt is generally made of cotton cloth, synthetic fiber fabric and plastic film, etc. The adhesive layer is made of rubber plus tackifying resin and other compounding agents, which has good viscosity and excellent insulation performance.
There are two production processes: rubbing method and coating method.
It is widely used in electrical work such as wrapping, joints, insulation and sealing of wires used below 380V.
Insulating tape refers specifically to the tape used by electricians to prevent leakage and provide insulation. It has good insulation and pressure resistance, flame retardant, weather resistance and other characteristics, suitable for wire connection, electrical insulation protection and other characteristics.
Production process: Polyvinyl chloride film is used as the base material and coated with rubber-type pressure-sensitive adhesive.
